I’d have to say that both drivers did a poor job of parking. Generally, most parking spaces are large enough that you have a couple of feet to spare, and if the cars were parked square and centered to the space…they’d both be fine.
That said, I’m willing to bet that the MPV driver was there first…there’s no way a driver would park so that they have to exit via the passenger side if they can avoid it.
