When it came down to getting an iMac as a combination main computer/kitchen TV, it wasn’t hard to talk myself into the new 24″ after seeing the size of the screen. As I stared in awe at all 24″ of glory at the Apple store, it suddenly become all too clear what had to be done.

Ha! You did it too eh? I ordered mine last Monday and FedEx had the beauty here from Shanghai by last Thursday(!).
This thing is fantastic. You will love it. It’s made all the more sweeter for me since it’s replacing the last Mac I ever bought new, a 4-year-old Power Mac G4 dual 867 w/ 17″ LCD Studio Display. What a world of difference.

Congrats! I ordered my mac pro about a week prior to the 24″ imac announcement. Looking back, I’m glad I stuck to my order but it was definitely tempting to go with the imac instead. I too saw it at the store- it’s gorgeous!

Nice choice, Gabe. My iMac g4 is still going strong, so I can’t bring myself to upgrade for reasons other than, “I want that.” Soon, though. Soon…
