New bands race for rock stardom

A string of new bands have burst onto the scene and been hailed as the saviours of rock and roll. But are they the next big things or built on hype?(BBC.co.uk)

The White Stripes, The Strokes, The Hives, and the Vines in that order are fairly impressive. But what happens when the Creeds of the world decide to jump on this bandwagon. Big label creations will eventually ruin this movement like they’ve ruined all previous right? So why care? Well for one the music is fanstastic. The feeling behind this movement is what brought about rock and roll in the first place. I, for one, welcome it.
